Kristina Sampson

Kristina Sampson joined R. L. Townsend & Associates, Inc. in April 2005 and transitioned to WiszCo on January 1, 2008 when WiszCo was spun off from Townsend. Since 2005, she has been instrumental in the performance of several construction contract compliance audits. Ms. Sampson possesses a broad range of accounting and auditing skills encompassing a wide variety on organizations and industries. She possesses proven accounting and auditing skills as well as being proficient in data gathering, data management and technical analysis.

Over the course of her career, she has worked as a finance and business development professional with considerable international experience. She possesses an in-depth understanding of operations of both large and small organizations through exposure to diverse functions including sales, external and internal audit, SEC financial reporting, and budgeting.

Kris began her career at Ernst & Young, where she specialized in banking and the airline industry. Subsequently, Kris held audit positions at both the senior and manager levels at two Fortune 100 companies, Pfizer and Viacom. During her tenure at Pfizer, Kris specialized in the Latin American markets where she traveled extensively performing audits in countries such as Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Peru, Colombia and Ecuador. She has also served as corporate controller of a public company before moving into the business development arena where she has held senior positions at Jefferson Wells International and InvestorCom, a company specializing in proxy solicitation and stock surveillance services.

Kris holds a BS in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin, Superior and Masters of Accountancy from the University of North Dakota. She is a Certified Public Accountant.
