Best Practice Reviews

An overall review conducted of an organization’s operational practices and procedures relating to their design and/or construction to identify opportunities for improving same. These type of reviews typically include (1) a review of existing written policies and procedures (2) conducting interviews with key employees who are responsible for the planning, design, construction an management of the overall process (3) an evaluation of systems, software applications and contract administrative responsibilities and (4) a representative sample of actual construction project information and data. These reviews are designed to understand an organization’s approach to design and construction and to determine how it executes its book of business. Successful practices are emphasized and refined. Suggestions and recommendations are made to strengthen and improve practices that are deemed deficient.
